Spend less time in the Gym
To be effective in the gym, each workout should take the least amount of time possible. In a lot of cases that amount of time should be under an hour. If the time is over, you need to be asking yourself if this is the sign of an inefficient or poorly put together workout. There are times when an increased training time is required; however these should be the exception rather than the rule. After all, if you have the right exercises, you should be able to build lean muscle and fitness, get a cardio workout, and burn fat – all through the same exercises.
I need a Social Life!
To get the results that you desire, you need to be honest with yourself – you need to train harder than you party. On the other hand, a large number of body building programs will tell you to bulk and cut, which is about putting on large amounts of muscle (and fat), and then burning of the excess body fat. This process does work, but it would mean no partying for you, and eating a very low number of calories, which means counting them. It is also possible to have a diet, where you still consume what your body needs to build muscle, but can mean that you have the ability to be social from time to time without ruining your results.
I’m Just So Hungry and Thirsty
Did you know, your muscles need water to function, and this includes building lean muscle? With this increase in perspiration, you’re going to need to be drinking a lot more water to make your efforts pay off. As a very rough and ready guide, you will want around 30 ml of water per kilo of body weight, and this is without taking into account how often you are exercising. So make sure you are always drinking a little water and keeping yourself hydrated.
If you are always hungry whilst you are in a training program, it may be an indication that you are not getting the right nutrients to your muscles, at the right time. This can really prevent the rapid progress that you desire, so we need to ensure that you have a customized solution to providing you with the right nutrition to allow your muscles to grow. Without this, instead of building lean muscle, you may just get sore.

Which Exercises Will Work Best
Knowing about exercise machines, or weight stations, or even exercises is only a small piece of the puzzle. You need to also be doing the exercises with the right timing, in the right order, with the right number of repetitions, and the right amount of rest so that you build muscles with the amount of size and definition you desire. There are some small tips that you will learn that will unravel a lot of the complexity above, and allow you to build lean muscle in the way that you want, a lot faster and with less effort than you could have done before.
Follow the Plan
Going to the gym, jumping onto machines you know about, and working out is a little too random to give you the results that you desire. It is much easier to make a plan, and stick to it, with the knowledge that you will see the results at the end.
This plan should include an easy to follow diet plan, including natural unprocessed foods and healthy eating, including good quantities for quality protein and carbohydrates, and good natural fats such as omega 3. Diet is an important part of the plan – it should be easy to understand, and follow, and should give your body everything it needs to succeed.
If that plan includes all the components to allow you to succeed, this is going to make life much easier; you just need to apply effort. Imagine yourself a few months from now, fit, with impressively defined muscles, toned, low body fat and that get the attention of others – you’ll follow the plan won’t you?
